Victoria Beckham                              Intersects                                        Evangelina’s Way

You wouldn’t expect a 25 year old female to visit Manhattan for a month in summer and not go shopping once. But if she is the writer of HAPPY SOMETHING, you might.

It was this Thursday afternoon when Evangelina finally decided to go to Saks department store on the 5th Avenue, to not be able to exit the elevator because of gathered fans who had come to see Victoria Beckham promoting her fashion line.

“Just this morning I was reading the US papers criticizing Victoria again that she has no talent, I was reading similar comments when I lived in the UK and I thought: these people are wasting their precious lifetime. Victoria seems to have such willpower, determination, perseverance, isn’t that the greatest human talent?” said Evangelina. “Perhaps we should concentrate on asking how she can use it better.” added Cifliganec, not afraid to show her sympathy for someone so different yet so similar. “We are all more or less HappySomething characters and every now and then I see people who fit some of their admirable traits better, and that inspires me.” admits Evangelina.

Evangelina continues her tour in the United States.

Evangelina was invited to attend The Harvard University Commencement Day. She met with some very smart people on Harvard campus and enjoyed answering questions about her book.

Among the people who received a copy of the book were the newly appointed first woman president of Harvard, Drew G. Faust and the honoured guest speaker Mr. Bill Gates, cofounder of Microsoft, philanthropist and also known as ‘Harvard's most successful dropout’. We look forward to their opinion of HAPPY SOMETHING.
